We are so proud of the 6 awesome screenings for NSFF 2015. Our screenings are made up of shorts and feature length films that run for approximately 1.5hrs.

We request that you show up 30mins before each screening to check-in and get a seat. All tickets for sale online. Whatever is left will be available for purchase before the screening although we can’t guarantee that screenings will not sell out prior to the Festival.

Running Time: 90 min
Surfboard artisan Tom Wegener was labelled a “sell out” by many of his contemporaries when he licensed a surfboard to be made in China. Troubled by this, Tom takes us on philosophic journey into the art of surfboard making to understand why we make surfboards and our importance to society as a whole. Tom’s story winds through surf history, philosophy and his own journey with his “alaia revolution.” In the end the conflicts with “selling out” are resolved and surfboard makers will feel good about themselves after watching the movie.
